This technically challenging development looks at locating a hotel on the vacant upper floors of this complex building. The building’s location within the heart of Glasgow City Centre, next to excellent transport links, and the main shopping precinct, strengthens the reasons behind this potential new use.
To access the upper floors a new dedicated circulation core would be formed facing Jamaica Street. The opportunity to create a visually striking entrance and brand the Hotel is explored alongside a holistic refresh of the external facade.
