This Masterplan supports a total of three separate planning applications which, collectively, make the case for a new, sustainable, mixed-use community at Blackdog, Aberdeenshire.
The new Aberdeen Western Peripheral Road (AWPR) will meet the existing A90 in a new elevated junction, gateway to the development. Blackdog Town Centre, a uniquely designed, mixed-use hub consisting of retail, a regional food hall, cinema, hotel and restaurants, will be surrounded by a mix of housing and business uses to meet the needs of the town’s new and existing communities.
Threesixty Architecture have designed the northern retail, business and industrial section of this masterplan for Ashfield Land.
550 new homes will be delivered to the south of the town centre (by others), and the creation of business and industrial floorspace to the north will provide new employment opportunities.
